When searching this forum for "Align" there is 262 votes across various request for the same thing. I wonder if these request should be merged and there fore more importance given to the request for an Align tool like in illustrator. Depending on the view you are orientated in to be able to align the outer edges or centre points of any object, point, line, etc. equally evenly distribute or even spacing between objects (including lines).
