Allowing 3rd parties to write plugins for plasti would be awesome for two reasons :
  1. the most used/successful plugins could serve as a base for future plasticity features
  2. the base software would stay clean and uncluttered, which I think is one of plasti's main selling points
Ideally, there would be a way for anyone to test plugins locally on their machines. This would also allow for personalised workflow to be automated.
example : I often design products with threads. I could write a script to automate internal and external threads, and then share this script with others so they can use it, and more importantly improve it! Later, that script can be considered by plasticity dev team and integrated into the base software if they consider it useful enough.
