Can we please update the array origin controls too, not have them limited to just the center? (make them like the curve array, where the reference point is the objects origin, not center of mass)

Add a feature when you can select the direction of the array, usually it's a straight line. It's hard to make a precise array on the surfaces not aligned with world origin.

i would love this, it cant be that hard to implement?

It would also be nice to be able to decide the pivot point of the object from which the operation is done
