Current selection tools are limited to click select and square drag over . . . a lasso style selection tool would be insanely useful in complex projects, also a select by colour function, it's there already as when you select a colour in the assets panel all the objects using that colour are highlighted, imagine if you could hold down a modifier (like Shift) and this action actually selects those objects, or failing that a menu driven "select all objects using this colour".
