What language would scripts/plugins likely be written in? I want to start learning it if needed.

Being able to create and add plugins.
For example, making threads are a bit hard, so being able to create a plugin that generate them easily with just a couple of variables would be amazing.

The plugin idea is great. I fully support it.

This would be a game changer, though I'm not necessarily convinced code plugins are the way to go. Blender Geometry Nodes has proven nodes can replace a lot of the need for addons, while being more accessible.

This would be awesome.. Then the devs can focus on the basic functions In plasticity and the community can focus on plugin that they want and need. thread generators, voronoi pattern, shrinkwrap etc.

If this is made please disallow payed extension, nothing worse than 3rd parties gatekeeping functions from the main software.

I think the software is way too early to actually have extensions / addons available but at least structuring it in such a way that they can be added later would be a huge benefit I think, especially seeing how many different use cases people have.
