Nick Kallen I noticed that only extrude and offset face have a small pop-up input field. It would be great if this small input field also appear when drawing lines, boxes etc. Like the example above. I know that you can press shift-tab but this dialog is huge.. and an extra key to press. Or it would also help that, for example when drawing a line, I can start typing directly the length instead of first clicking on the dialog or pressing tab or Shift-tab. In my memory it used to work this way?

Agreed, as artist’s that are building for even simple 3D printing I could really use some measurements. Hopefully this gets added in. I can think of many instances where I could use proper measurements.

Couldn't agree more... Exact values are a MUST have

Personally I think this is a must-have feature to specify length, angle or making lines tangent to the circle. Even if this is not engineering targeted app it's still very important to make sketches and then geometries precisely.

There have been numeric control when you add object. But yes, put this input align with object or around mouse will make plasticity more attractive and efficient.

I understand Nick does not want to implement this (correct me if I’m wrong), but I do think it’ll be very helpful for the hard surface art community too, to have very basic relations, such as concentric and tangent, to name a few.

Mohammad Azher: my request is about 'simply' being able to enter the length and angle of a line (as example) while drawing. So not later with the gismo but directly when you draw. Right now it's not possible to set a line length when drawing. The concentric/tangent relation you talk about is really next level and imho not really suitable for direct modeling. That sounds more like parametric modeling like SolidWorks.

MarcelP102: oh yes your request is definitely more required right now, but I do think the other constraints will be helpful. I understand that they are for the more “mature”, manufacturing oriented CADS, but the tangent one especially will be very helpful in creating clean sketches, no?
