DWG Export Similar to SVG Hidden Line Export
John Lega
I would love the ability to save views (with/without hidden lines) in DWG format. So many times, engineers need views in DWG format, and this would cut out having to create a step file, import it into Solidworks, create a drawing, and export to DWG. Unless someone knows of a better way to create DWG files from views. Thank you.

Importing a DWG into Plasticity is a bit of a joke and really it should be dumped as it just doesn't work on 'complex' drawings. Your idea is a good one, but I don't think there is enough knowledge in the Plasticity team yet to do this. I developed software for Autocad many years ago and at an advanced level it requires extensive knowledge of how the Autodesk DWG database is structured.

This is really important to those of us who need to collaborate with people on other cad 2d software, or for making production drawings. Even DXF would be ok, because DWG is a closed format.
