Freeform Mesh/STL Trimming and Boolean Tools

Currently, Plasticity is excellent for NURBS modeling, but working with imported Mesh/STL data as reference or part of the design is limited. I would like to request tools that allow:
- Direct Trimming: Ability to use curves or surfaces to cut/trim Mesh bodies.
- Mesh Booleans: Simple Boolean operations (Union/Subtract) between Mesh and NURBS (or Mesh-to-Mesh).
- Reference Integration: This would allow for much faster reverse engineering and hybrid modeling workflows where STL parts need to be modified or integrated into a final CAD design.

I think doing mesh work is primarily handled through the Blender bridge. I wish it werent since I personally abhor Blender as a bloated, overly and unnecessarily complex piece of software. That said, I do wish there was a way to integrate a mesh (STL) into Plasticity for direct editing. Unifying all faces on the same plane and converting them to surfaces seems like it should be simple, but then im not a programmer.
