Import SVG files as curves/curves network

Such importing would enable boolean operations for logos and texts; along with many other objects that can easily be created in Vector design softwares like Inkscape.
Since many artists brand their artworks by embossing/debossing their intials/name/logos onto their 3D designs, this will be very helpful as such branding is done in multiple projects.

Nick Kallen YOU ARE THE KING! is it live for us to use or are you waiting to release the patch? And it's for indie right?

Nick Kallen downloaded latest version from webpage but can't import svg. Or I need to download beta from somewhere on the discord?

Nick Kallen Could it be possible to also implement the SVG export option?
We really need it for 2D purposes like exporting logo designs done in Plasticity. I think that also some CAM programs will be benefited, like laser cutting or 2D CNC machining.
At least, the SVG will be a first "bridge" with other 2D softwares that can later convert it to other vector formats.

I'm testing importing SVG to Blender and Exporting to .3dm (v6/v7) Cost is 12$ https://www.digital-sculptors.com/cms/index.php/software/blender-plugins/70-export-3dm-addon-for-blender.html and reimporting to Plasticity, but unfortunately i think it is unable to read the 3dm files saved as v6 or v7. MoI using 3dm v5 and Plasticity read them. Rhino6/7 3DM file format to Rhino5 3DM file format (MOI3D compatible) converter did not help.
Szymon Kulik
Or simply copy and paste paths from vector software. As MoI resolved it.

It would be a welcome feature.

Just adding a thumbs-up to this request. Jumping through the SVG-to-STEP hoop is kind of a time waster and Illustrator is indispensable for putting together complex curves quickly. Especially in a "for artists" tool.
