Would be great to be able to move selected objects to an existing grouped folder with a command/context menu/pop up panel like in Blender so we don't have to drag the long list.

Yes, it's a much-needed option! Currently, you have to drag pieces a looooong way up through the entire files list to place them in the exact folder within the hierarchy. Sometimes, it stops scrolling but freezes (on Mac) and drops files in the old location.
