Point cloud (3d scanning)

It would be awesome if being able to work with point clouds for people who want to make accurate reverse engineering based of their 3d scans.
Almost all softwares supporting point clouds are VERY expensive (except freecad) and if Plasticity could add it, it would be amazing! And it could also attract more users who 3d scans and 3d print things!
(I know there already is a request for this but its 3 years old so im making another try.)

+1. I would love to see this. With some dynamic cloud clipping in specific views or construction planes maybe. The past few years point clouds became more and more popular in CAD.

+1 to this because you would likely better mesh object support as a side effect.
