Rotatrix support (Plasticity controller API)

Rotatrix is a new 3D controller based on the Kensington SlimBlade Pro.
Unlike SpaceMouse and similar controllers Rotatrix is an absolute mode (as opposed to relative mode) device and thus more precise.
It supports many 3D modeling packages already and Plasticity would be the next in line to gain support. I have talked briefly with the creator David Liu and what’s missing is an API that would enable him to make the integration.
So this feature request is more than a support for single specific controller. I’m requesting for a controller API for Plasticity that would enable developers to integrate any viewport controller into Plasticity.

Would love to get Rotatrix support for my production needs!

Plasticity dev team - I'd love to get in touch to discuss how to enable Rotatrix support for your users, whether through a controller API or other avenue. Happy to provide sample hardware for testing, please reach out at david@rotatrix.com

Same here, I use plasticity almost every day, it will be great if the Rotatrix can be used with plasticity. My Rotatrix already standing by on my desk for this great moment!

New Rotatrix user here, just tried it out in Blender so far. Add my vote to the "Rotatrix support wanted" list for Plasticity! Rotatrix is an exciting new idea in 3d interfaces and I think it would be a big win for Plasticity users.

It would be a great advantage if the API for the link between Rotatrix and Plasticity were developed!

+1 for this API. It would be a game changer for me on Plasticity. I'm moving away from Fusion360 and
must
have support for Rotatrix and similar controllers to seriously consider a platform as my future forever CAD home. Thanks!E

I'd love an API to enable support for things like the Rotatrix and more.
I've been in contact with David, too, about Plasticity support.
On the Discord there is mention that an API is coming. But that's about it.
