Scale to a specific size

Currently, the Scale tool works with scale factors, which means if I have an object that is 15.5" and want it to be exactly 14", I first need to calculate the correct scale factor externally. It would be incredibly useful to have an option to simply enter the desired final dimension.

try freestyle scale, it is a special command just for this

you realize you can type 14/15.5 right in the dialog ie X Y or Z?
Number(measurement) you want divided by the current number(measurement)

This is one of the most frustrating parts of this software for me. I need to be able to give it a very specific measurement and have it scale. I don't do math well and I don't want to have to for this.
