As in Alias u can pick one end of a curve and stretch/pull it onto a new position with keeping the curves character.

just figured out something like this already exists. by pressing with left mouse button and holding it on a cv and dragging it u can move a cv. while doing that u can additionally hold ALT and it rubberbands the whole curve. with CTRL u can even snap.

was a bit hidden..sorry for post.

raider_of_the_lost_curve: You can also select the vertex (endpoint) of the curve, and run the move command at make the proportional mode "all"
