I would like to request a feature that allows unrolling a 3D surface into a flat pattern with accurate surface area. This functionality would be especially useful for generating real-world cutting patterns from curved surfaces.
The main purpose is to convert complex surfaces into a 2D layout that reflects the actual material area needed. This would greatly support workflows such as:
  • Creating 3D printed patterns for fabric cutting
  • Producing accurate sticker templates for vehicle wrapping
Having this feature would streamline the process from digital design to real-world production, especially for automotive and product customization industries.
