I use Plasticity to create thin, organically shaped parts. Currently, verifying wall thickness is a friction point. I either have to:
  • Export the model to 3rd party software to check heatmaps.
  • Perform a tedious loop of Section Analysis > Measure > Repeat manually.
I am requesting a heat-mapping tool/color option to visualize the parts variable thickness.
  • Function: A visual overlay that uses a color gradient to show part thickness.
  • Controls: Users should be able to input "Min/Max" values (e.g., set red for anything under 0.8mm).
  • Use Cases: Essential for 3D printing (finding weak spots) and Injection Molding (ensuring uniform wall thickness for DfM).
