There is a program for VR modeling Gravity Sketch. Work with curves and nurbs is also implemented there. But most of the possibilities that plasticity offers are missing.
Also, there is still no full-fledged CAD VR application on the market. It would be possible to fill this niche by adding support for VR helmets.

Letting the 3D data hook up to a Monado/steamVR/openXR instance running in the background would be great.

I've been looking since I got the original vive and there's been seemingly 0 effort from developers big and small to build a VR CAD app. If Plasticity would add VR support with some effort put into rethinking how commands are triggered with controllers (i.e. grab a face to extrude, hold trigger to snap to axis, etc) it could be the most popular CAD app in VR overnight.
